Pro Business Channel Team Member Categories and Descriptions:


Studio Booking Agent:  Responsible for working with PR Firms and identifying other resources to book qualified guests on PBC business shows.

Audio Engineer/Producer:  All aspects of audio for studio shows including pre-show prep, live show and post show production.

Video Engineer/Producer:  All aspects of video for studio shows including pre-show prep, live show and post show production.


Studio Operations Manager:  Coordinating daily work-flow of the studio, i.e. communication with show hosts, guests and sponsors.  To include but not limited to e-mail, phone calls, CRM management, follow-up system implementation, meeting and appointment scheduling etc.

IT Manager:  Channel web site and show program management; daily show postings and updates on WordPress and via our syndicated media outlets.  Identify a new tool like Infusionsoft to create, implement and manage e-mail drip campaigns, leads pages etc. to support business development efforts.

Communications, Events and PR Manager:  Daily postings and updates across all PBC social media, writing press releases for shows and studio announcements.  Coordinating, planning and implementation of PBC networking calendar and special events.
1 – Manage all aspects of the monthly studio e-newsletter, Pro Business News! Build data base and create the mailing list, manage and update the list, write content, create promotions, add audio, photos and videos.  Schedule the monthly newsletter and special news updates.
2 – Organize our guest and client follow-up using a cloud based service which generates cards, postcards and thank you rewards send via U.S. mail.  Build the CRM data base on this system, develop creative drip campaigns and seasonal promotions.

Podcast Supervisor:  Self starter to play an integral part in launching our new podcasting platform.  Podcast programs are typically recorded during off-peak time slots i.e. after 4:00 pm and weekends.

Accounting:  Responsible for updating and managing our online accounting system. Entering expenses and revenues to generate P & L statement etc. Creating monthly budgeting and expense reports.  Manage accounts payables and receivables on an ongoing basis.

Business Development:  Generate new leads and new business through one more of these approaches:
1 – Utilize online lead service tools.
2 – Reconnect and follow-up with leads within our CRM to generate new business.
3 – Create innovative systems to establish new revenue streams
4 – Create business opportunities and partnerships with organizations i.e. chambers of commerce, business networking groups, local business associations etc.
5 – Outbound marketing, e-mail and phone
6 – Event marketing – selling our “Pro Business Onsite” offerings to trade shows, special events, seminars and conferences.
7 – Cold Calling – believe it or not this still works
8 – Social Media Marketing
9 – Sales Manager – have the ability to run and manage a team.
 

These are just some possible avenues, choose the one(s) you feel are best suited for you and let’s talk!  PBC business development is paid by commission only based on production.  We’re looking for the right people who are experienced in sales and not afraid to work hard to produce results and for that we will reward you.  We do not believe in paying for non-production.

Interns will find each show to be entertaining and informative.  Meeting and working alongside a wide range of business leaders, centers of influence and innovative start-up entrepreneurs which can lend itself to amazing business connections for and professional opportunities for the right candidates!

Additional information:  PBC is perfect for the right person looking to gain business, marketing and multi-media skills and build their resume and work history to position themselves for a career or learn what it take to start their own business.  Our expectation for a candidate is they will come with the right training, education and communication (both verbal and written) and a basic working knowledge of the position they want to pursue among the categories listed.  We will of course augment their training with hands-on coaching to teach the specifics requirements as it pertains to PBC daily operations.  Additional information and insight can be found via the PBC web site.
